Wandering in Amsterdam

A photo gallery with classics shots taken wandering the wonderful city of Amsterdam: the typical houses,  various house boats, the canals, Anne Frank house museum, some modern buildings, the Nemo science center, and the crowds of tourists in red light district.

The slim and high typical houses of Amsterdam are called canal house because usually are house overseeing a canal. These houses are so slim that need a special beam whit pulley installation located in the attic to hoist up goods and furniture. You can see this beam under every roof of this houses.
